Anya is a New York City-based illustrator and designer who focuses on storytelling, character art, and the creation of posters, book covers, and merchandise. They have a particular fondness for book illustration and editorial illustration, and they’re deeply interested in visual narratives, stories that center human emotion and relationships, and the communication of feelings and experiences through art. They also really like colors, pirates, and funny little guys.

Anya cares a lot about human rights and people being nice to each other, but also commitment to the bit. They run an Etsy shop and do freelance work, but spend most of their time on writing and concept art for personal projects. You can find more of their personal work here!

(Okay, I know there’s a fair bit of empty space down here, but I had to do a lot of brute-forcing in Squarespace with custom CSS to make this site look good on both mobile and desktop. For my ingenious solution to work there has to be some empty space here. I hope that isn’t a dealbreaker for you.)
